Do I need an account?
No. You can use local-only features without one. An account adds hosted synchronization and the assistant Datacea provides.
Is Zicarium free?
The local application—including creating, viewing, editing, importing, and exporting records—is free by design. Datacea expects to charge for services it operates on your behalf, principally hosted synchronization and backup, once commercial terms exist.
Where can I use it now?
The web app is live at zicarium.app. Public Windows and Google Play releases are not available yet.
Is mobile web a separate app?
No. It is the same web application using a responsive browser interface. The planned Android app is a separate installed Capacitor shell with native integrations.
Can I work offline?
Installed applications are designed for full local operation. Web offline behavior depends on data retained by that browser and the offline scope selected in Settings.
Can I take my data elsewhere?
Yes. Export is part of the free local application. Structured Space exports can include original media and attachments.
Is Zeke required?
No. The assistant is optional and can be disabled. You can use Datacea's service with an account or configure a compatible provider yourself.
Where do I get support?
Use the Datacea contact page for support questions and bug reports.
