Local-only use
Without an account, Zicarium does not synchronize your content to a Datacea account. Content created entirely in local-only features ordinarily remains on that device, though requests to websites and optional network features can still create technical records.
Connected use
When you sign in and enable synchronization, selected records and assets are processed by Datacea's hosted services so supported devices can stay in sync. Platform storage defaults are explained in Accounts and sync.
Images and faces
On supported desktop and installed mobile applications, face detection and grouping can run on the device. The web version uses server processing for that feature.
Import and export
Zicarium can export selected Spaces as structured JSON and include original media and attachments. Keep exports secure: they can contain the same private information as the application.
