Android test
The Zicarium Android app is being tested before its public release. Testers install it from Google Play with an invitation.
The Android app is not listed publicly on Google Play yet. While it is tested, Google Play only offers it to Google accounts that have been added to the test. Your invitation is tied to one Google account, so use the account your phone signs in to Google Play with.
1. Ask to join
Email contact@datacea.com with the address of the Google account on your Android phone. We reply once the account has been added.
2. Accept the invitation
On your Android phone, open the test link while signed in to that Google account, then choose to become a tester.
3. Install from Google Play
After accepting, follow the link to Google Play and install Zicarium (com.zicarium.app). It can take a few minutes to appear. New test versions arrive as ordinary Google Play updates.
If Google Play says the app is not available
- Check which Google account is selected in Google Play. If your phone has more than one, switch to the account you sent us, then open the test link again.
- If you have not heard back from us yet, your account may not have been added.
Leaving the test
Open the test link again and choose to leave the test, then uninstall the app. If you signed in, your records stay in your account and are still available in the web app. Without an account, records exist only on the phone, and uninstalling removes them; export them first from Settings → Export/Import.
Not on Android, or would rather not wait? The web app works in any modern desktop or mobile browser with nothing to install.
