The basic model
Everything you keep is a record. A record has a type—such as Note, Todo, Recipe, Receipt, Book, Person, Photo, or Reading—and keeps the fields and actions appropriate to that type.
Universes
A Universe is the largest boundary in Zicarium. Most people can begin with the default Universe and only add another when they need a genuinely separate collection.
Spaces and folders
Spaces organize records around a durable area of life. Folders and saved views organize work inside a Space. A record belongs to a Space, while links can preserve relationships to other records.
Relationships
Use links and related records when context matters. A note can annotate a person, a receipt can relate to a vendor, and a reading can belong to a health history. These are explicit connections, not recommendations from a feed.
Search and smart folders
Search looks across record types. Filters and smart folders turn useful queries into repeatable views without moving or duplicating the records themselves.
